Location

About half way along West Sands, a beach next to the town of St Andrews.
I reckon it should be reachable at low tide, if not at high tide.

Plans

Wasindear plans to cycle in on the road behind the beach, find the hashpoint and sit on it.

Expedition

I was at the hash point at about midday (low tide was at 11:43)and stayed for about 15 minutes. My girlfriend accompanied me to the geohash on her new bike. Unfortunately my phone, which I was using to see my co-ordinates, ran out of battery whilst I was trying to pinpoint the exact location of the hash point, though I was very close when it died. Luckily I managed to get some pictures before it ran completely dry, so it was not a total waste. I also left a note informing others that the internet had visited the beach. - Wasindear (talk)
