James considers himself a friend of Randy's since their 8th grade year, during which they began ignoring Algebra I together with such things as whimsical experimentation in their potential psycic powers, ie, the self-referrential and ill-fated [The TTP Project]. He was a moderator and/or a wizard on the fora for a while, but apparently is no longer, likely due to considerable bouts of inactivity. Having little first-hand exposure to Randy's fame outside of videos of talks and reading articles, he considers a geohash meetup a potentially-interesting dialouge across persepctives.

He also finds it tiresome writing in the third person sometimes, and really sorta hopes Randy would sign off on "Make Fun of Childhood Pictures" as a legitimate-enough game for Saturdays, but isn't really holding his breath.
