Pastori's and the Wife's trip started 3.7. with a visit to their granddaughter. After a short coffee break they continued towards Jyväskylä hoping for suitable hashpoints along the way, but – not a one feasible all day. After setting their quarters on The Chamber of Bishop, Pastori went on visiting some old colleagues in the Jyväskylä evangelic-lutheran church. (He worked there for 13 years.) After about 27 meetings, 3 days and 1 scrutineering of the car the journey continued to Espoo to see our youngest granddaughter (2 months). After a couple of wonderful and warm days the trip continued towards Savonlinna and an opera, Madame Butterfly, that was performed there. In one of the roles was Pastori's baritone little brother.

On the way to Savonlinna there was at least one hashpoint that seemed possible to reach even in opera clothes. And it was a really easy one. Through some small villages and along some field roads we got to about 170 meters from the point, and then just some walking on a fallow field. The Sun was shining, the singing of dozens of skylarks filled the air and the sweat was pouring. We found the point, but when trying to take the screenshot Pastori had some immense difficulties. He all but managed to press two buttons simultaneously and with equal force. At least 20 times the power just went off and there was no picture. The satellites also tossed and turned around so that when standing in the same spot, the distance to the target varied from 0,3 m to 9 m. Pastori got his shirt wet and almost lost his nerves before he managed to get one decent screenshot with a 1,5 m distance. Phew. Then back to the car and towards the Opera.

The evening was wonderful and Pastori's brother did well in his role. After an evening meal to the lodgings and to see how Germany crushed Brazil in the semi-final match in the Football World Championship Tournament.

Thickets were overwhelming on further points.

The next day on the way home there were two possible hashpoints, but both were located in the midst of so dense and hot forest, that when opening car door, immediately masses of gnats, mosquitos, horseflies and similar blood-eating insects attacked us. About 250 meters remained between us and both of the targets. So close, but yet so far. Then quickly back to home and sauna and to watch the other semi-final match after 1300 km tour, one successful and two forfeited hashpoints.
