Plans

This geohash is very reachable, but current weather conditions preclude an attempt to be there at midnight. I have other plans for most of Saturday, but we'll have to wait and see what gets rescheduled because of the weather.

You know how I always say, I had an errand to run, this and that. Well, on Saturday we left in the morning and didn't get home before 8pm because we ran ALL THE ERRANDS.

First, Gwynnath had to pick up a birthday gift for my nephew, so she runs out to pick that up, comes back, starts me to wrapping and getting the kids fed and dressed, while she runs out for another errand. She comes back, pick us up, and we're off to the library for a maker workshop. ("Makers" are a big thing for kids / in education lately in the US.) The kids had fun making circuits, using salt dough as joins for the wires, and using pencil leads as light bulb filaments.

Then we went to our nephew's birthday party. I got to hang out with my uncle for a while, where a grand old time was had by all. We were there until about 7pm then left on our way out to the geohash.

The hashpoint was in the middle of the street, so I just needed a picture of us and the house nearby. Even the camera on the new phone can't figure out that a landscape picture should be rotated as a landscape photo </rant>. We went to dinner in Flemington after the fact, where Gwynnath and Grace both basically fell asleep because it's been a looooong day.
