Expedition

Danatar

As first part of this expedition, I took the tramway to the city center, where the [[wikipedia:Internationales Dixieland Festival Dresden|Internationales Dixieland Festival Dresden] is taking place this week. I listened to some of the band, had lunch and finally made my way to the train station in time for the 14:14 train. With that one I rode to Oschatz. In Oschatz I followed one of the main roads to the city center, where I had a look at the "old market" and the "new market" with surrounding buildings. Then I walked to the city park. The hashpoint was between two of the paths in the park and I could reach it easily at 4 p.m. There were some small trees around the spot but they didn't block my way. While I was at the spot taking pictures a group of adults and children, each with a small wheezing dog on a leash, was walking by. Soon I left the spot and went to the O-Schatz Park, a part of the park that apparently was created for the Landesgartenschau (state garden exhibition). It was quite nice, with many interesting corners to see, and some animals. So like during 2015-02-22 50 14 there were alpacas near the hashpoint, they're onto us! I didn't stay longer than a few minutes before walking towards the train station again. I made it just on time with the train already at the platform, I even had to jog for a bit. Back in Dresden I again went to the Dixie festival, some of the bands were quite good.
