Expedition

Got a Lucky Location, at the edge of a residential street 310 m from our house, on a lucky day, a warm sunny Sunday in February. This one was easy, and we made it a Tron walk as well. The complete loop was almost exactly a mile.

I downloaded GPS Logger but didn't set the logging frequency high enough, and in addition there seemed to be a couple of spurious points a km or so from where we actually went. So I have drawn our Tron loop in Google Maps and posted it.

The occupant of the house immediately east of the hashpoint was out in front cleaning his gutters. We spoke to him and explained that his house was special today. He knew XKCD but had not heard of geohashing, so we encouraged him to check it out.
