Since I've barely missed couple geohashes lately, for instance on Friday I planned in the morning to go after dinner since it was only about 7km away but forgot, and on Sunday I had passed by the geohash about 100 meters away by car, but figured that out later when I was about 50 kilometers away, so today I just had to try to get to the point since it was under 10 kilometers away. I would go after work, and before dinner.
Expedition
After work I came home and started to prepare for the expedition. I printed a geohashing note, changed clothes and put the coordinates in my GPS. I thought I'd get as close as about 150 meters away from the point by car, but when I about 350 meters away, the road wasn't plowed anymore, so had to park the car and continue by foot on the snowy road. After couple hundred meters on the road, I had to leave the road and get into the terrain that was quite tough, and at times I had snow up to over my knees, so it was quite tough last 150 meters. The weather was nice though, and still enough light, so I reached the goal at 5:37pm.
