Excellent news! Geohashing Day 2017 falls on a Sunday. It's never too early to start planning, so, given the unequivocal success of the last one, we begin thinking about next year's.
We will have nearly fifty hours' notice of the location, this being a meeting at 4pm on a Sunday. The hashpoint may be in water, for example The Wash, or on inaccessible land. In these cases, we aim to get as close to the point as possible.
Location
Participants
The day is fast approaching. Months ago, the following people signed up:
- Tongs/B (Simon) - hopefully coming with Tongs/M (Deepa).
- Wiff (Tiff) - I haven't heard from Wiff yet.
- Sourcerer (Neil will probably be 1 to 2 hours late - excuses and grovelling are on the the talk page. )
- ChromeCrusaders (Callum (probably Josh too))
I've put everyone's names in italics. It's probably a good idea if those people who are still thinking of going indicate this by changing their name back from italics. Other people can sign up as usual.
Participants coming from further afield might be able to get lifts, crash space, or just local information by asking on the talk page.
