Expedition

Second of two bizarrely convenient hashpoints: get out at an intermediate bus stop on my commute home, walk less than half a mile to the hashpoint, do our thing, walk back to the stop, catch the next bus (this route runs every 6-10 minutes) and continue home.

This one was in the woods at the edge of a town park, about 275 meters from the bus stop. Unlike yesterday, the walk was not along a road but through meadows. I chose a suboptimal route on the way to the hashpoint, swinging too far west, but took the straighter route back to the bus stop.

When I was a little ways from the bus stop, still walking through the weeds, I saw the bus coming, so I ran a little to be sure I caught it. When I got on the driver looked at me and said "I've picked you up a lot of places, but never out of the brush."
