Expedition

My first geohash in five years.

While I was getting settled at my new college, I signed up for the email notification service provided by NWoodruff. I thought that maybe, once or even twice during this year, there might be a point within walking distance of my dorm.

So imagine my surprise when two days later, I find out the day's hashpoint is less than two miles away.

I walked over and arrived at 3 in the afternoon, careful not to step on private property. On the way back, I followed the trail along the Fox back to campus. All in all, only a two-hour experience, and just four miles traveled.
