Expedition

I've been out of the game for a while, and even more out of the discipline of reporting my expeditions. Expeditions 2016-09-20_42_-85, 2016-10-15_42_-85, 2016-12-14_42_-85, and 2017-03-17_42_-85 have gone unreported until today.

I had seen the location earlier in the day but hadn't planned to make the expedition on my way home. However, as I was southbound after work, there was a train PARKED on a railroad crossing. I waited patiently for maybe five minutes for it to start moving, but no luck. I then turned the car around and headed back north. At that point I was basically headed toward the hashpoint and figured I might as well check it out.

The neighborhood was full of small but well-kept single-story houses. This was in a front yard between the sidewalk and the house. There was no obvious activity in the house, but I didn't want to go wandering into the yard without permission, so I satisfied myself with the 4m error and green bar I got from the sidewalk.

On my way back to the car, a cat crossed the street just ahead of me, and paused to look back in my direction. I crouched down, held out my hand, and made the chk-chk-chk noise that seems to be a universal come-hither signal to small domestic animals. Lo and behold, the cat came to me. It was a little skittish and didn't stick around, but it did come close enough for me to rub its back a couple times. My first hashcat!
