Sure you got the time and coordinates right?

  • On what day was the expedition? The title specifies June 6 but the content mentions June 5.
  • The coordinates you're using should be verified against the fractional coordinates listed in the day's expeditions page (e.g. 2008-06-06), for locations east of -30°. The coordinates are usually posted soon after the dow data becomes available, and are apparently verified by at least some readers. All that's left to do is to add (32,34) to the fractional coordinates. On both dates in question the coordinates seem to point into the sea.
  • Did you perhaps try to calculate the coordinates for the next day before 4:30 PM local time? That's when the dow opens.
