Plans

My plan was to leave home around 15:15, bicycle to Saint-Genis-Laval and reach the coordinates at 16:00.

Expedition

It did not go according to plans.

Shortly before 13:15, while I was in my kitchen, preparing for the expedition and trying to open some package, I was viciously attacked by a Velociraptor of the species Victorinox Huntsman.

The attack was quickly repelled but the beast's claws inflicted a deep cut on my left thumb. I immediately took a picture (warning: graphic content), applied pressure, washed and bandaged the wound, before bicycling to the hospital.

Four hours later, I was back home with a bigger bandage, a prescription for a tetanus booster, a surgery appointment for the next day, and still enough time on my hands to go geohashing.

So I left home, bicycled to Saint-Genis-Laval and reached the coordinates 135 minutes later than expected. The travel was uneventful and the weather very nice. Near the geohash, I noticed a cat, which didn't seem eager to fraternize with me. After recording proof, I went back home and finally ate lunch at 19:00.
