After checking the elevation and nearby trails, I thought this would be an epic camping geohash. No bushwhacking required! Looking at photos of the ponds, they look fairly clear and rocky (not muddy or marsh). I even found a tracklog for the hike.[1] I was ready to start packing for the drive down until I checked the weather forecast. Taking into account the higher elevation, it sounds like I'd have to expect near-zero overnight, and possibly rain. Bleh. --Juv
