Galisteo Creek expedition
What happened at 2020-02-13 35 -105? The current report is quite the cliffhanger. --Fippe (talk) 22:22, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- Ah, took me a while to get around to editing it. I'll do so soon. Arlo (talk) 07:16, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Ah, yes; I deleted my Gmail due to being overrun with spam and wanting to move away from the behemoth to my own domain. I have updated my website now to reflect this. Thanks to the gracious assistance of user:DanQ, you may now use special:emailuser/Arlo to email me. Arlo (talk) 14:35, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your welcome!
Hi! I'm not too sure about how to use the talk page, I guess I just have to edit this? Or should I do this on my page? Anyway, as you mentioned, I was wrong. The marker I saw just next to me was the center of my graticule, and not the geohash. T_T I'll edit the page as soon as I can. Still, I definitely plan to go on geohashing when I can. - I see Fippe also greeted you on your talk page and explained about how they work. The software the wiki uses -- MediaWiki -- can take a little getting used to; I was lucky to have some experience with it from editing Wikipedia. As far as the talk pages go, they don't make it too complicated -- it's pretty much like any page made in the wiki, where anyone can edit and see it. So there isn't really a 'right' way to carry on a conversation, it's just whatever works for the people conversing! Usually once a topic is started folks just stick to wherever it had began, but that's not a hard rule. Arlo (talk) 00:45, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
