Expedition

I cycled from Sélestat to Lalaye. After passing through the hamlet of Charbes, as the road was becoming steeper and steeper, I started pushing harder on the pedals. Suddenly, I heard a clank, my bicycle stopped, and my foot made contact with the ground. As I looked down, I noticed that the right crank arm had split in half, which wasn't going to make pedalling uphill any easier.

Fortunately, I was only 800 meters away from the geohash when the incident occurred. I pushed my bicycle the remainder of the way and reached the coordinates at 18:04.

After recording proof, I cycled back home. Even with clipless pedals^H and gravity on my side, pedalling 23 km using only one foot wasn't a very enjoyable experience. But it makes for a fun story, so I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
