Expedition

Two weeks ago, I broke my bicycle's right crank arm during an expedition. Having spent a significant portion of Saturday afternoon shopping for then laboriously installing a new crankset, I was now ready for a new Bicycle geohash.

After voting in the French legislative election and having a quick lunch, I left home and cycled to the coordinates. I took the RD 424 road from Sélestat to Marckolsheim, then followed the EuroVelo 15 to Obersaasheim. The expedition was quite pleasant: the weather was nice and my bicycle's chain was sliding silently on the brand new chainring's teeth (the old chainring was starting to look more like a chainsaw blade).

The hashpoint was located in a chest-high cornfield. I've become accustomed to treading in cornfields and I quickly found a path to the coordinates. After recording proof, I continued cycling southwards to Mulhouse, where I ate a veggie burger before taking the train home.
