To gain the Graticuleader achievement, you must become a Graticuleader: the person with the most successful expeditions in a given graticule.

Requirements:

  1. You must have more successful expeditions in the graticule than every other geohasher. (Equalling the current Graticuleader is not enough.)
  2. There is at least one other geohasher with a successful expedition in the graticule.

Claim the achievement only for the expedition that makes you the outright leader. (This can occur due to a successful expedition to a geohash you did not attempt, if it causes the second requirement to be met.)

If multiple geohashers achieve the greatest number on the same day, but not in the same expedition, the first to do so is the new Graticuleader and may claim the achievement.

In the rare case where multiple geohashers simultaneously achieve the greatest number of successful expeditions in a graticule, in the same expedition, the achievement can be claimed by all and we have joint Graticuleaders.
