Plans

Get to the hash on my new e-bike in the morning

Expedition

After breakfast, the weather wasn't that good at all, but the forecast said, it would stop raining at aound 10 o'clock... And indeed, the rain stopped and the sky got a little bit clearer, so I jumped on my new e-bike to go for todays geohash!

It was a nice tour through the Echzeller forest, then through the village Geiß-Nidda and finally through Bad Salzhausen. On my way I didn't see any other people - as if no one wanted to be outside today. Sort of a strange atmosphere, but it was ok for me. After some 13 km I reached the geohash and after I had parked my bike I only had to go some 35 meters into the forest and I located the hash rather fast. Made the usual pics, enjoyed the silence and and wondered, if my feet were still alive or already dead ... it was quite cold this morning, and I surely put on the wrong pair of shoes, so it felt as if my toes would fell off...

Luckily, on my way back, the sky had got even clearer and even the sun got through - again, a very atmospheric view, while cycling through the dense forest. I took a different route and got back home after 24 km in exactly 1,5 hours. This was a great one and I hope there will be more hashes in a radius of maybe 25 to 35 km that I can do on my bike!
