Looking from Google maps, I knocked on the door of the property that I thought the Geohash spot was on. A nice Chinese family lived in the house that didn't speak English. The 12 year old daughter had to translate for me and her parents.

I explained to her that I wanted to get to a point in their back yard and take a few pictures of my eTrex. The daughter started trying to explain in Chinese. It seemed like a lot of words to explain something simple. After a minute or two, the mother of the daughter shook her head in a "Yes" motion and I followed the mother into the back yard. I pointed in the direction that I wanted to go when I got to her back yard and she made the hand gestures that she wanted me to lead.

I saw the fence in the back of the yard that isn't on Google maps. As I got closer, I figured that the spot was not going to be in their yard. I found the closest spot and knew that I was in the 10 meter requirement. It wasn't close enough for me but I took a few pictures anyway just to be safe.

I told the daughter that the spot was not in their yard that it was in their neighbors. I walked back to my truck and thanked them. The mother bowed in the Chinese manner and I did the same.

I then drove around the corner and to the street that their neighbors house was on. Their entire back yard was fenced in. I knocked on their door and waited. I knocked again and waited some more. I decided that they were not home as there was no car in the driveway either. I waited another 10 minutes or so sitting in my truck before I decided that the 20 or so feet was close enough for today.

I then drove home to Norcross.
