Location

Sunnyvale Tennis Center, just south of El Camino Real off Matilda.

The actual hash is on a sidewalk between two points.

If anybody manages to see this in next 3 hours and has tennis gear, playing tennis at the hash point would be fantastic!

News flash - My friend Nija and her dog Tukey are coming! Double drag-along!

Expedition

Well, the expedition started earliest for Tukey, who ran off this morning. He turned up after about 20 minutes of worrying Nija and Greg.

I (Annie) was at Nija's house today anyway, so when I saw the hash point was nearby I told Nija about it. She realized it was right beside her dog park, and Tukey needed, obviously, a chance to run around.

So, about 2:30 we wrapped up and headed for the dog park.

Darn, trouble right out the gate - somebody had hit Nija's car! Gosh foo and shucky darn. After giving a livid Nija time to vent, we set off.

Next obstacle - the dog park gate is like an air lock, with two gates, and the outer one, though in theory unlocked, wouldn't retract the bolt far enough to open. So Nija jumped the gate and opened it from the inside. Go Nija!

Had a great time playing with all the dogs and the very nice community of people who brought their dogs to the park - most of whom know each other and seem to have a nice little community. Surprise! Reverse Pie on us - Mimi brought still warm home made lemon bars.

Eventually we mosey over to the hash point, there's the traditional wandering around with GPS, and we take the obligatory pictures.

Hashcat - we petted dozens of dogs, we went crazy petting dogs, but no cats

Pie - We were offered lemon bars by a random passer by at the dog park

Deja Vu - this is Nija and Tuke's regular dog park! It's RV only because the actual hash is at the tennis courts just north of there.

Train Wreck - Nija's car was hit, but it was just body damage, and didn't cause us to miss the hash.
