Drove up the island from Whitemark from our motel, parked the car on the coast side and continued on foot along the non-hash side of an electric fence. A farmer seemed to spot me from their farmhouse balcony but no action was taken. After a few electric fence hurdles I was bashing my way right to the hash.
Hash achieved, I just had to make my way back to the car, this time through a different farm's paddock. Despite reasonable proximity to the farmhouse no-one came to accost me. Many wallabies fled my position though.
My socks now thoroughly covered in burs, I was back at the car. 20 minutes of driving took me back across the 40th parallel to the motel.

Annoyingly, I forgot to start my watch GPS tracker until after I'd reached the hash. The route getting from the car to the hash largely involved following the marked fence line until the corner of the northern paddock, then performing a large curve round to the hash from the east.
