Great expedition writeup. The petrolium pipeline post only prohibits digging nearby, not walking across. However, depending on local laws, a fence may imply 'no trespassing'. Or it might not. Since you looked for signs before proceeding, I'd say you were well within the spirit of Geohashing when you jumped the fence though :) --Eldin (talk) 20:21, 6 August 2013 (EDT)
