The site was in the Lees Valley, near a town, well location, well farmhouse... Called Glenburn, 2 1/2 hrs drive from Christchurch. Much on gravel roads including a drive through the picturesque Ashley Gorge. The hike consisted of a 1 hr hike which climbed 300m along an icy and unkempt 4wd farm track. The final location was in a thicket of thorns which detered our female. On the journey home our vehicle's electronics failed as we entered Christchurch, resulting in a towing and a very late night!
