The point was directly in the middle of a small farm road near Ottsville, PA.

I reached this point solo at around 3:00 pm, took some pics and left. Most of the pics were washed out and ended up being discarded because I forgot to turn down the exposure on my camera. The surrounding area included open fields on either side of the road (possibly starting to grow wheat or something), an old, empty barn, a white house with a sign on the front porch that read something like "Welcome to the farm," a dilapidated garage and a swing set out front.

Exploring the nearby area revealed a gravel road that is submerged at one point beneath a crossing creek. Interestingly, there is a sign forbidding motor vehicles from heading upstream. (Thanks for the warning - I wasn't going to try anyway!)

Achievements

Template:Virgin graticule Note: This ribbon was awarded by Eldin long after the actual expedition. This was the first claim of success in this graticule. The proof provided was not up to usual standards, but this was a very early expedition, and the 360-degree panorama was shot somewhere that could reasonably be the hashpoint, based on google's satelite imagery of the site. Also, no later expedition with better proof has yet laid claim to the virgin graticule achievement here.
