Location

In the thicket of a municipal forest near Freiburg.

Expedition by konrada

Today's meetup was located conveniently close to Freiburg, where I live. A thunderstorm was preparing to commence any minute while I cycled the 7.5km from my home to the place in the Mooswald forest, conveniently located almost on the way to my favourite quarry pond.

On the way, I met another cyclist at red traffic light where cyclists enjoy particularly low priority (see also [1]), and drove by a lone farm in the forest. When I had reached the last intersection on my map, a thunderstorm was preparing to commence any minute. I took out the GPS receiver and noticed that it uses babylonian coordinates, while I had only written down decimal coordinates. Aw droppings! Well, the location would have been somewhere in the dense forest anyway, so I just walked somewhere into the very uniform forest, put up a sign at a particularly arbitrary tree at ten past four and walked back to my bike.

The thunderstorm was still preparing to commence any minute while I rode home, and it finally started when I had reached my flat.
