Location
In the Black Forest, in the deep and narrow valley of the Kleine Kinzig river. The valley should feature a wild and romantic landscape, a large reservoir, lots of trees, traditional Black Forest houses, and there should even be a small mountain lake named Silbersee near the hash.
The closest train station for hikers is about 6 km from the hash at Alpirsbach, crossing a significant mountain ridge. By bike it's definitely more reasonable to go from Schenkenzell (about 10 km) or Freudenstadt (about 15 km). I haven't checked bus connections.
