I had left out for this graticule in search of the Global geohash and my sheer luck, the local graticule hash is on the same road only 3 miles away. 

I took the chance to make another Virgin geohash award seeing that it was only another 3 miles out of the 227 that I drove to make it this far.

I should have done the local geohash first instead of the other way around. Then I could have said "First Augusta, next the WORLD!"

I found the hash and pulled into the driveway. I knew that the mobile home on the property that I stopped on more than likely had nothing to do with the big field as it looks from google maps the the house across the street to the south is likely the deed owner.

But, anyway, I decided to knock on the door anyway because there were two cars parked right next to it. When I first walked up to the mobile home, I could hear a radio playing from inside. As I walked up the front steps, the radio quit playing. 

I knocked on the door thinking that I would just give them the short version of geohashing and asked if they would mind me walking over in the field if it was in fact, their property. 

Nobody answered. If you were home in rural South Carolina all alone and someone in a suit and tie knocked on your door, would you answer? One might assume that I was some lawyer trying to serve some child support payment garnishment from their own sister. I might not have answered either.

After several minutes of absolutely no sound at all. I walked down and into the field. It was a little more than 300 feet from my truck to the geohash spot. I took a few pictures and then claimed to myself the Virgin Graticule award.

I walked back to the trailer with the radio again playing and I left the google map that I printed out of the local geohash spot in the door jam of the screen door. I then made my way back to my truck.

This time I did drive home to Atlanta.
