There were about 25 people who have never heard about geohashing. After we got on ship I talked one of the crew over over and got our first destination of this trek to be this geohashing spot. So I just sat or stood on the ship and saw from my gps that the distance get lesser until it was below 5 metres. So I managed to get 25 people with me into this location of gulf of Finland. It was very exciting as well as the hole boating trip. We reached back to Alexandras pier about 2:30 pm. What a relaxing working day..:) |

These coordinates were located in sea in Vantaa, Finland graticule on 2010-06-10, in Porvoo, south west of Pellinki island and east of Tunnholmen island. N 60.18307°, E 25.79898° or more likely N60°10.9841', E25°47.9385' Quite intresting coincidence with this location that our working department had planned sailing trip around Pellinki just today with beautiful wooden sailingboat called Alexandra. It was about 11 am when arrived this location. We started sailing at 10 am from the Voolahti, from there it was about 10.5 km sailing (with motors) to the coordinates.
