Alright, I'm going to make good use of my shiny new android phone.  The hash point is on my way home from work, so it'll be an easy run. Hopefully the geohash app has a way to post my current coordinates.

Expedition

I'm really enjoying the new Android phone I got. Without picking up the Geohashing app for it I probably never would have bothered to even look at today's hash.

I sincerely hope that posting from my phone above with the date, time, and coordinates counts as proof, since I don't have a GPS aside from my phone and I don't have a digital camera besides my phone. Or anything to display the date, for that matter. I gave up on having a watch ever since my binary one died years ago. (I miss that thing.)

I was rather foolish about not taking a picture of myself at the hashpoint though.

When I was looking at Google Maps for the hashpoint in satellite view, it looked like it was inside the Big 5 store shown in the pictures. I discovered once I arrived on the scene that this wasn't in fact the case, and spent a good while wandering around the parking lot staring at my phone. I'm a bit lucky the owner of the car next to the point didn't come out and see me standing around, staring at my phone, and taking pictures of the rear bumper of his car.

I'll have to stick some sidewalk chalk in my car for future expeditions.
