Back into those hills south of Yakima - this time for a success?

Expedition

Continuing west from the previous expedition for a Multihash.

I followed highway 14 west along the gorge. I've driven this route a few times but always over on the Oregon side. Crow Butte state park was pretty, and in general the river was nice to see. Very windy, as you would expect.

Peeling north, I followed E road to minimize the dirt roads and possibility of car trouble. Many miles from anywhere, who would come get me? Would I even have cell signal?

More pressing, is the geohash achievable? Parking the car, I can see that it will be. This land is scrub, unfarmed and likely unclaimed. Oh, sure, the roads are there for some reason - probably accessing farm or grazing land elsewhere. Or more recently, windmills.

Walked to the geohash point making sure to avoid holes in the ground and varmints. Found the spot, marked a big X, and snapped a few photos. Success!

As I hopped back in the car, someone else hopped in with me. No, I'm not bringing you back to Seattle. Out you go!
