Expedition

Danatar

This hashpoint was not far from home and I cycled there in the morning before work. I followed the Main river to Heidingsfeld and soon I was near the hashpoint. From the satellite image I knew that it was between patches of probably private property, so when I reached the general area of the hashpoint I first followed the available tracks to see where they were leading me. They led me around the hashpoint until I stood at the street side of the area, but there a gate was blocking what from the satellite image had appeared as the easiest way to the hashpoint. This meant that the front part was no trespassing, but the hashpoint was in the back part. I cycled around to the river side (see track log for my complicated route) and there everything was less orderly kept, with plants growing wildly. I found a small path and followed it in the direction of the hashpoint, carefully because of thorny branches. The path was leading to another gate in the distance, but the hashpoint was well in front of it, a few steps off the path. Despite the thorns I reached the hashpoint.

I took pictures, went back to my bike and cycled home.
