Location

On the grounds of a used-car dealer in Reiskirchen.

Participants

Plans

Make a quick hash expedition to overcome Salta's hashing trauma. (Explanation will follow...)

This one was too close to not try.

Expedition

Went on to Grünberger Straße in Gießen and drove along. In Reiskirchen, we turned left and parked on some company parking space mere meters from the hash point. The grass on Google maps had turned itself into a fenced in, paved car dealership. Before I had time to despair, I saw that actually the gate was halfway open and someone else was looking at the cars- okaaay... We went in and the hash point was under some fixed tent as a presentation site for cars, at that point a beautifully restored Unimog, one of "Wirtschaftswunder" Germany's tools of economic comeback in the 1950s and '60s.

Apart from that, there was a restored vintage tractor, a Czech armored transport and a rather interesting car portfolio. Seems someone in that dealership has a broad interested in all things motorized. ;)

We put the hash poster on the tent post next to the hash and had coffee at the opposing fastfood restaurant.

Success! :-)
