Stuttgart, in the middle of the Neckar river.

Ekorren was very ill prepared for a proxy geohash and failed miserably.

This was about as close as I could get
Tries to improvise a boat failed, mostly because I could't find a possibility to get it into the river after the wind of the afternoon was gone.
