Location

Farmland south of Hillsboro, Oregon

Plans

The real hashpoint is pretty nearby, so I'll try to make a stab at it.

I think I know one of the neighbors, which might help get access.

Some unknown person has proposed a meetup using Peeron on a private lot in NE Portland, which doesn't make a lot of sense. (If you're going to propose a alternate location, at least go for public access!)

Expedition

I went and ran errands, and then tried to swing by. I went to visit our friend, but no one was home, so no one could provide an introduction.

I continued down the road, and passed by a dairy I hadn't realized was there. I also found someone who had some hunting gear set up, but I figured I was safe on the road. I went back and forth a couple of times, but clearly the hashpoint was out in the (very soggy) fields.

After a bit, the person who had stuff setup on the side of the road and I started chatting. He was looking for nutria. I explained what I was looking for. We considered it, and he thought the point was on the fields that belonged to the dairy, but there was no one there for me to check with, and I wasn't interested in fording a stream and passing through the very soggy fields, so I gave up.
