It was freezing out though and the GPS was a bit jumpy, so it took a long time to get the exact coordinates. I walked around in a 5 foot circle for about 5 minutes, then my hands got too cold and I probably looked a bit odd to the cars driving past. Ended up actually getting the coordinates dead on when I got back in the car! I tried to carve an "XKCD" in the snow bank with my keys in case Swoop came by later, but it was pretty rock solid. I ended up throwing a slab of ice on top of it to signify human involvement... I assume he did not notice. Photos to come! | ||

I arrived at 9:20PM so it was quite dark and bitterly cold. Two of my kids jumped up on the snowbank that StatMan22 mentioned (thanks for thinking of us). We got a few blurry, frozen pictured and jumped back into our warm minivan. StatMan22, great photos! Thanks for sharing. | ||

It appears to be a very reachable hash, on a sidewalk in a nice neighborhood in Lake Zurich.
