Lunch time excursion, on what may be the hottest day of the year! Drive to the car park beside the viewing platform on Lady Denman Drive. The hash is about 90m due east of the eastern corner of the carpark. Take some pictures from the fence.

Expedition

1PE

Instead of lunch, I drove by when going home from work. I found that the eastern side of the car park for the viewing platform is a double gate. It has a prominent sign saying "TRESPASSING ON THIS LAND IS PROHIBITED" and "PENALTIES APPLY UNDER THE CRIMES ACT 1914 SECTION 89"; so, I did not attempt to climb, past the several strands of barbed wire, and go the ~90m beyond to the hash point.

Instead, I took a few pictures. In one, after the event, I saw the Australian Federal Police vehicle patrolling the grounds. So, they do look for hashers! NOTE: I claim this as a 'reached' by [User:1PE#Success_criteria my criteria].

I then went to the viewing platform and took some pictures from there of Government House.

I have been to Government House several times on 'official' business, and have done radio interviews with two Governors General of Australia, Bryce (current) and MAJGEN Michael Jeffery. Additionally, I have met several others: Sir Ninian Stephen and Sir William Deane.
