Expedition

  • I am now lahr, waiting for my cousin to pick me up. A big thanks to Ekorren who helped me the day before to find a good price for the connection, without losing too much time! -- RecentlyChanged (talk) 13:27, 22 June 2014 (CEST)

Ok, first I have to thank Eupeodes greatly for help me planning this Expedition! Thx again.

Now to the story, I met with my cousin and her boyfriend (from now on called Tatze and Baby, because that's how they are called while geocaching). We immediately drove over to the parking place which was recommended for the geocache just a few meters away from the hash.

After I took a photo from the local not-so-wild-life we made our way to the first Cache. We had a little bit of trouble to find it, because we just found a "perfect place for hiding" but it wasn't in there or anywhere else. We checked every other possible hiding place, but it really wasn't anywhere. Finally we looked up the hint, which does not help much because everyone was green now. But Tatze found out after some searching that the perfect place we found really have to be the place where it is hiding! Finally we found it! We really respect the hiding skills of the founder, because the box was brown, brown as everything else, you had to feel the box! The cache I'm talking about. After that we came to the Hash as planned and this time we could see the place we hid the cache! Yeah, achievement! The place was fine but we had to move on, due to the rye field which really attacked Tatzes nose.

So we went on and found the second which was hidden without love (surely not the fault of the owner), the third which was nicely hidden, but a little bit away from the coords (at least that NEVEr happens while hashing), the fourth which was really hard to find and we just gave up, then baby found a hint. And at least the fifth which was just classic.
