Expedition

I'm once again visiting my friend living on the Baltic Coast, so once again it was a nice opportunity to get some more virgin graticules in the area. And once again, I had some luck with it!

The day was hot and sunny and the geopoint was generated very close to the train station. The problem was, it looked like a very boring geohash (and as it turned out, it was like that - in the middle of some generic village), so we decided to spice it up a little. The geopoint lay very near Pomeranian Way of St. James (http://www.en.re-create.pl/) and we decided to walk on it while getting to the geohash.

The plan was set, we left Gdynia for Lębark (I have used 3 different buses and 3 different trains and walked over 32km in total for the whole expedition), first walked to Mosty to get this virgin graticule, the only nice surprise was some cool looking Russian tank IS-2m in one of the parks on the way.

Then we returned to Lębork, found out it's a Polish center of St. James worship (they even have some relicts of him here, huh) and started walking north towards the Baltic Sea, following the road marked with seashells. It was very hot, the road was beautiful, it was mostly deserted, but we had a great fun nevertheless.

Finally, after some 27km we found small train station and my friend decided he had enough and turned back home, I decided to take a train north for the last 25 km to the coast.

It was my first time visiting Łeba (one million tourists, but after walking in empty spaces for the whole day I did not mind), I spent some time on the beach and then headed back. I took some other way than my friend and was home almost the same time as he did :D. Anyway - great expedition, boring (but virgin!) geohash, nice walk and adventure!
