Pedalpusher is going to try to make this hash after work. The Toronto Hash actually landed on the US side in the TINY sliver that is a part of the Toronto Graticule. It's probably the best/closest opportunity I'll get to pick up the NW graticule for my Minesweeper Ribbon.
Expedition
The drive up was pretty uneventful and went by quickly. It was nice though because I drove by an old fishing spot my father used to take me. As I was approaching the schools where the hash was, I figured I would see if the parking lots were empty and pull in or just park on the road. As I got closer, I saw there were still a number of cars in the lot so I kept my eye on the GPS to pull over in the right spot. Right when my GPS beeped to let me know I was really close, I saw the small police station in front of the school and started to worry a little, which made me overshoot the hash by 500 feet. Fortunately, the hash was about that far or maybe farther from the station so I figured I could run up by the trees to the hash, get my pictures and leave without disturbing anyone. Being so close to a school, I really didn't want a police achievement today. Pictures taken, I headed for home, stopping at a friends house for a quick visit.
