Nice moonlit night (not bright enough for photos from my phone's camera, though.) Fairly chilly, this year's winter in the Northeast is threatening to be nearly as cold and snowy as last years (Google for "Polar vortex 2013", and enjoy many pictures of snow piles taken in March and April :-) )

  • This geohash is easily reachable, I may combine the expedition with an Ingress attack run through Flemington. -- Jevanyn (talk) 12:41, 5 November 2014 (EST)

Checking for the daily geohash location, I saw that today's geohash was on or very close to the street. Flemington is only a half hour drive from home, and we had no plans for the night, so we planned on heading out after dinner.

After eating dinner, Evan decided he didn't want to go, so I opted to go alone. Leaving the house at 8PM, I anticipated being at the hash before 9, and getting home soon after 10.

Expedition

The drive out was mostly uneventful, but it had its moments. There was a traffic accident on 202 in Bridgewater that blocked one lane. At that hour, though, traffic was able to get by in the remaining lane without a big delay.

Flemington is a decent Ingress site, so the trip gave me an opportunity to capture and neutralize a number of portals there.
