I started to cache in Rheinstetten where I picked up [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC37GGC_11-11-11| GC37GGC] and slightly afterward [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3R56R_am-alten-bach| GC3R56R].

After some following the GPS, but not looking at a map (I've had my Garmin eTrex 10 with me) I made it to Mörsch, where I first picked up [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC563PY_altes-morscher-hallenbad-a-d| GC563PY], then [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC53N0N_alte-morscher-buhn-im-feschtzelt| GC53N0N] and finally the legendary [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4C2JC_ac-dc| GC4C2JC].
 +
I already knew how the last one will look like, because my cousin showed it to me about a year ago and told me how awesome that one is.

More Caches schould be like that one!

Then I went on to the ferry, where I ate lunch at about 3 pm and picked up [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC49GWK_tb-hotel-rheinfahre-neuburgweier| GC49GWK], sadly this cache is really damaged, that made finding out the code obsolete.
 +
After crossing the Rhein I solved the puzzle for [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC55GM3_grenzganger| GC55GM3] but I wasn't able to find the cache at the spot. That was around 4 pm, so I decided after 15 minutes to move on.
 +
The next one I tried [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC1RDAA_palzer-grumbeer-und-gemusestrooss-dorette| GC1RDAA] did cost me even more time, because i was really eager to see the cache, seemed to be interesting judging by the comments.
 +
It should be hidden inside a potato (Grumbeer seems to mean that, what was new for me).
 +
But it really was getting late.

I moved on to [http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC1RPJN_ludwigsstein| GC1RPJN] which was an easy, but still funny, find. The place where it was hidden was so obvious I even thought I will not go there, because it seemed tooooo obvious. But I made such a mistake already in the past, so I've decided to look at the obvious hiding place, and there it was!

Then I finally moved on to the hash which even lay on some kind of track, even though I had to cross a small swamp/really big puddle.

Finally I went home over Hagensbach and Maximiliansau where I catched the tram.
 +
I came home at about 7.30 pm, to see my street blocked by police because of a rally by [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriotische_Europ%C3%A4er_gegen_die_Islamisierung_des_Abendlandes| PEGIDA].
 +
I first had to convince them, that I just wanted into the house in sight behind the cordon of police and did not want to throw stones at them or the Pegida-people.

They let me in eventually.

It was a great day for hashing (and caching)! The weather was really perfect!

Plans

I'm currently premium member on geocaching.com, so I made this: geocaching route.

I should have much time and it is hopefully nice outside. I'm planning to make a tron, which could be really difficult this time if I really combine it with a lot of caches, we will see. First thing I surely will do is charge my devices to the max! Also I plan on doing this by bike.

Start will be around 11 am.

Expedition

On my way now, had to buy food and solved a few mystery caches - RecentlyChanged (talk) 05:49, 14 April 2015 (EDT)

I started to cache in Rheinstetten where I picked up GC37GGC and slightly afterward GC3R56R. After some following the GPS, but not looking at a map (I've had my Garmin eTrex 10 with me) I made it to Mörsch, where I first picked up GC563PY, then GC53N0N and finally the legendary GC4C2JC. I already knew how the last one will look like, because my cousin showed it to me about a year ago and told me how awesome that one is. More Caches schould be like that one!

Then I went on to the ferry, where I ate lunch at about 3 pm and picked up GC49GWK, sadly this cache is really damaged, that made finding out the code obsolete. After crossing the Rhein I solved the puzzle for GC55GM3 but I wasn't able to find the cache at the spot. That was around 4 pm, so I decided after 15 minutes to move on. The next one I tried GC1RDAA did cost me even more time, because i was really eager to see the cache, seemed to be interesting judging by the comments. It should be hidden inside a potato (Grumbeer seems to mean that, what was new for me). But it really was getting late.

I moved on to GC1RPJN which was an easy, but still funny, find. The place where it was hidden was so obvious I even thought I will not go there, because it seemed tooooo obvious. But I made such a mistake already in the past, so I've decided to look at the obvious hiding place, and there it was!
