There were at least three guards standing alert on the driveway leading up to the British Council, and who knows how many else in the guardhouse. Later did I find out that not only was the British High Commission there, but in the nearby vicinity were also the American Embassy, the Australian High Commission, the Embassy of China, and rather unsurprisingly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I forwent the Silly Grin Selfie and decided the Geohash Droid screenshot (and my own personal sense of achievement) was sufficient enough proof for success.

Expedition

  • Finally managed to escape the clutches of the office just after 7pm. Waiting for bus no. 7 now to take me directly to the British Council, where the hashpoint is. -- Cyazlars (talk) 19:11, 4 April 2016 (GMT+08:00)
  • Coordinates reached! I didn't want to linger too long outside the place just to get the most accurate GPS reading as the presence of a higher-than-average number of guards made me uneasy of being labeled a suspect character. -- Cyazlars (talk) 19:46, 4 April 2016 (GMT+08:00)
