I parked my car by the side of the road closest to the hash. According to the maps on my GPS, the hash was located next to an abandoned railway line. This turned out to be just a footpath through the forest, although there were historical markers explaining how there used to be a railway there. In fact there were still some actual artifacts, such as an old transformer building and some remains of construction work in the forest. I still had to squeeze myself through some thick bushes growing by the side of the road and avoid an onslaught of flying insects, but eventually I reached the point without major incidents. Took some pictures and went back to the car.
