Location

In a forest next to Baden-Baden.

Participants

Plans

Cycle to the Lehner's Wirtshaus and eat there, maybe go to the geohash?

Looking at the satellite imagery, there appears to be some kind of path or track in the forest, right next to the hash.

We didn't look at a topographic map.

Expedition

My dad and I first cycled to Rastatt. We then each ate some tasty Schnitzels with pommes at Lehner's and decided to cycle further to (attempt to) reach the geohash.

After going through Baden-Baden (avoiding the inner city), we noticed that the street leading to the hash also leads up a mountain. Nevertheless, we continued to cycle up the hill. After my dad explained where a forest track he saw on the satellite image could be, we found it. Since the track isn't very well maintained, we decided to walk.

A decently sized field of most likely tick-infested fern was right in our way to the hash, so we went right through it (my dad) and around it (me). I managed to get downhill faster :D

GPS reception was too bad to exactly locate the hash, but we got to the estimated location.

Cycling downhill afterwards, we reached approx. 50 km/h :)
