I checked the bus schedules and noticed that I'd be able to get this hash in under two hours. So I took the train to Kaltenkirchen, where I had some trouble finding the correct bus stop, and then got on the bus to Struvenhütten with my bike. I cycled the last 1.6 km to the hash, which lay on a very wet meadow between houses in a tiny, somewhat secluded backwater (if you can call it that). I had to work my way through some copse and climb over a taut barbed wire fence, then walked 30 m onto the meadow. I easily found the hashpoint, took pictures, then made my way toward the streetward side of the meadow where there was no fence, trying not to step into too deep a puddle as the grass was at places submerged due to a heavy storm in the morning. (Also, I was in sight of a house from which a man walking his dog had emerged and seen me while I was at the hash.) I cycled back to the bus stop past farms and a tree nursery, took the next bus back to Kaltenkirchen and then the train home.
