This Geohash lay in front of the Geoinformation office in Hannover.

GeorgDerReisende is taking two trains and two buses. Arrival at about 11:50.

Fippe is taking his bike and plans to arrive at the same time.

I took the bicycle to the city center. Georg was already there when I arrived. I located the coordinates at a slightly different position than he did. Afterwards we talked. Of course we both had been here before, this location could almost not be more central, being right next to the New City Hall. I just had a picture from 2017 of a nearby sculpture (Großer verletzter Kopf), but Georg actually was familiar with the particular building.

After we parted I took a picture of the City Hall from the back, and then realized I should probably capture a current picture of Großer verletzter Kopf, as it is almost invisible on my picture of the surroundings. I passed Georg on the way.

As I was heading home, I realized that this would be a good opportunity for a hashcard, if only I could find one, most stores not being open. I did find one and went back to the site of the Geohash, but by now, Georg was gone of course. I knew he was still in Hannover, he told me he was going to walk around, and on a bike I am quicker than him, but I did not find him. So the card to Baarde is just signed by me.

I traveled with a bus, two trains and the underground tram to the hash. I found it in front of the geoinformation office, about ten meters on the green. Some minutes later Fippe arrived. We talked a bit. In the report to the 2014-07-14 52 9 expedition I wrote something about the former surveyors' office and a practical course which I took there. This surveyors' office is now the geoinformation office, but they do the same. Fippe mentioned that this would qualify me for a Déjà vu geohash.

Baarde (Reto expedition on 2023-05-21)

In 2021, I received a postcard from Fippe. Two years later, while waiting in Hannover on my way to 2023-05-21 52 10, I decided to go sightseeing. As I was taking a selfie in front of the New Town Hall, it occurred to me that I had already seen this building and I remembered this expedition. With a little help from geohashing.win, I found the coordinates and walked there. After recording proof, I went back to the train station and met Fippe on a train.
