In the afternoon, I took the train to Lentföhrden. I had initially wanted to take a different one, but shortly before I'd wanted to leave, I'd noticed that for some reason the train schedule stopped being regular for a few hours in the afternoon and the times were all over the place, so I'd picked the next most convenient time. In Lentföhrden, I cycled 5.1 km to the hash, managing to momentarily get lost in the small town. The location lay 13 m onto a field right next to a big farm. The first thing I noticed when I approached the site was a strong acrid stench, which became so bad that I couldn't breathe through my nose. On the edge of the hashfield, just 40 m from the coordinates, was an artificial water reservoir, whose brown waters I wouldn't recommend for anything. Right next to the reservoir, at the edge of the field, was a perpetually squeaking metal wind wheel that strongly reminded me of the famous opening scene from ''Once Upon A Time In The West''.

A path led along the field, but just as I entered the field, I saw a tractor appear from behind a haystack on the farm at the other end of the field, and the worker probably saw me. I retreated and waited for a while, taking photos, until he disappeared again (although there were sometimes other workers in sight). I quickly walked the 13 m to the hash and took pictures, then I heard the loud tractor again and it came right at me, so I hurried away, not wanting to be told off. I had some spare time because of the new weird train schedule, so I went into the adjacent forest along which I came for a few minutes. Then I cycled back, coat undulating in the airstream, while eating an apple in the nice weather (pushing on 20 degrees and cloudless). I had to wait at the station and again in Kaltenkirchen because of some issue with the train.

Right next to the reservoir, at the edge of the field, was a perpetually squeaking metal wind wheel that strongly reminded me of the famous opening scene from Once Upon A Time In The West.
