I had initially wanted to take a different one, but shortly before I'd wanted to leave, I'd noticed that for some reason the train schedule stopped being regular for a few hours in the afternoon and the times were all over the place, so I'd picked the next most convenient time. In Lentföhrden, I cycled 5.1 km to the hash, managing to momentarily get lost in the small town. The location lay 13 m onto a field right next to a big farm. The first thing I noticed when I approached the site was a strong acrid stench, which became so bad that I couldn't breathe through my nose. On the edge of the hashfield, just 40 m from the coordinates, was an artificial water reservoir, whose brown waters I wouldn't recommend for anything. Right next to the reservoir, at the edge of the field, was a perpetually squeaking metal wind wheel that strongly reminded me of the famous opening scene from ''Once Upon A Time In The West''. | ||
