I was out of town when I discovered the location of this hashpoint.
My plan was to get my ride from the airport to take the more "southern" route to get to my house so that we would pass close to the hashpoint, even though we were unlikely to reach it, even if I got out of the car in the daytime.
However, my ride was unwilling to deviate from the route they had in mind, despite my several attempted nudges. So, since they were kind enough to come and get me from the airport, I was graceful and accepted the very-far-away-from-the-hashpoint route.
This report has taken a while since I've been unsure what category to put the thwarting into.
