Plans

I will drive to the Wanderparkplatz Franzosentriesch after work and do a nice walk to the hash.

Expedition

After work I drove to the Wanderparkplatz Franzosentriesch, changed shoes and went for a walk. The forest in this area is destructed for almost 50%, due to some extreme storms in the last 15 years, severe attacks by beetles (called Borkenkäfer) (large areas are cleared of affected trees currently, to prevend the larveas of those beetles to survive winter and spread further in spring) and major periods of dryness during the last few summers. So, all in all, the situation isn't that good for german forests, and especially here, the effect of those three things can clearly be seen here...

Big areas are reforested here, little trees were planted and to avoid deers and other wild animals from eating and damaging those vulnerable little plants, huge areas are within fences, to keep animals away. And, of course, those fences would also hinder a geohasher to reach a hash location if it would be within one of those areas hehe... Would it turn out to be a no trespassing for me today?

But no, this day I was lucky. Approaching the hash, I first saw a huge field of destruction - it seemed that everything here was destroyed, but in some 30 years, a new forest should emerge here! Hope so! The hash was behind this fenced area, so I simply followed the fence that was around it, and it lead me to quite a swampy part in the forest - no dryness here, at least not in this winter!

Carefully, not to get soaking wet shoes, I managed to get closer to the hash and some 20 meters prior to he coordinates, I got into a dry piece of the forest and found the actual hash after a little hashdance. This place was very nice, lonely, calm and I may have been the first human to actually be on exactly this place... Who knows? And who cares? Nobody... hehe...

After taking proof, I walked back and after some 8 kilometers and short under 2 hours I arrived at my car. It was a nice expedition for sure - and I am glad I was able to reach the hash!
